“This is a wonderful place to stay! It is super clean, comfy bed, lots of hot water for showers, and a well appointed kitchen. The location has tons of things to do nearby such as beach, waterfalls, nature walks, restaurants and pickleball.”

“We spent over a week in this wonderful, spacious, and well-stocked house. It's in a very peaceful, rural, stunning location. Our time there was exactly what we were looking for in a vacation - restful and restorative with hiking on and off the property (Ha Ha Tonka State Park has a numerous trails and is only about a half hour away), and wonderful small businesses nearby. The community is peaceful and friendly. The pictures don't really do this rental justice.”

“Wow, the pictures do not do justice. Our jaws dropped when we walked in the house. Beautiful rooms, balconies, pool and ocean view. Beach towels, laundry, and a well-equipped kitchen were huge bonuses, especially compared to the AirBnB we stayed at in La Fortuna. Monkeys playing in the trees welcomed us the first morning and with our bird-watcher friend we spent a lot of time on the balconies identifying toucans, hummingbirds, frigates, social fly-catchers, etc. Download the "Merlin" bird app before you come which identifies birds by their sounds. Ebird.com will track your birds for you and there were binoculars by the TV. At night we turned off all the lights and it was an amazing dark sky area for looking at the stars from the balconies. One night there was a lightning storm out at sea which was spectacular. We played a lot of pickleball at the four covered courts at Invictus in Uvita 10 minutes away. We went to Hermosa Playa close by in Uvita and if you are a surfer or want to learn, this stretch of beaches is for you. Linda Playa was highly recommended, but we didn't make it there. If you don't do anything else, GO TO THE Nauyaca waterfalls! They have a truck that drops you off for two hours so you can swim and picnic at the base of the falls. So fun, get reservations. Dominical has the best restaurants and is close. Go to Cafe Mono Congo for coffee and pastries on the river, Mama Toucan's next door has great coffee and take out pizzas and sandwiches, and Fuego Brewing dinner in the treehouse around the corner was a great experience. So much more but will leave it at that. Everyone in our group said it was one of the best trips they had taken. It is a steep, rocky road up to the house like many places in that area because of the topography but we quickly got used to it. Make sure to rent a 4x4.”

“Wave song is a beautiful villa in a peaceful setting! It could just as easy be called birdsong! The house is very clean, well maintained and has comfortable beds. The layout is great for many guests with en suite bathrooms and amazing views from each bedroom. The pool is a perfect place to cool down. Mornings on the balcony are ideal! The kitchen is well stocked. It’s a quick drive to amazing beaches, stores and restaurants. We’ve stayed here on two separate occasions and wouldn’t hesitate to return.”
